Hypnotherapy is a safe therapy. It can help you to become more self-aware and more able to live the life you desire. It is a natural state and occurs when people experience a trance like state. These natural states are occurring every day. Does your mind ever drift off when someone is talking to you, or do you find you get lost in a book? If the answer is yes, then you were in a trance.
The most common concern regarding hypnosis is the fear of losing control. This cannot happen. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. You can only enter into hypnotic trances voluntarily; my role is that of a guide. You are in control at all times.
Once you are in a hypnotic state you are very relaxed. In the relaxed state the conscious mind is repressed and the sub-conscious becomes open. In this state you are more open to helpful, positive and often life changing suggestions.
