"Don’t tell me that you understand.
Don’t tell me that you know.
Don’t tell me that I will survive,
How I will surely grow.
Don’t come at me with answers
That can only come from me.
Don’t tell me how my grief will pass,
That I will soon be free.
Accept me in my ups and downs.
I need someone to share.
Just hold my hand and let me cry
And say, “My friend, I care."
Loss and Bereavement is of special interest to me, because we all experience loss, and death during our lifetime. I have experienced this and recognize that it can be the saddest darkest period of life.
Many of my client’s come with many presenting issues when they first start counselling. Such as, anxiety, stress, depression, relationship issues and many more. But once we start to look beneath the surface the underlying problem (in many cases) is unresolved grief issues which is obstructing their present day life and possibly their future life.
Counselling can help with unresolved grief. If you feel you would like some time to explore how you are experiencing life after a loss and have someone really listen to you, please contact me.
